Our Doxorubicin is colorless needle crystal, m.p. 180°C, Japanese Doxorubicin B pure product is amorphous crystal, m.p. 160°C (decomposition). Doxorubicin is soluble in water, insoluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone, chloroform, benzene and ether and other organic solvents. Stable to ultraviolet light, acidic solution, neutral solution, unstable to alkaline solution, stable for more than 3 years storage at room temperature. The appearance of industrial products is light brown-yellow powder or gray-brown powder.
