Description
1,2,3-Triheneicosanoyl glycerol is a triacylglycerol containing heneicosanoic acid groups at the
sn-1,
sn-2, and
sn-3 positions. It has been used as an internal standard for the quantification of fatty acids in human breast milk samples and triacylglycerols in rat heart.
Uses
Triheneicosanoin can be used to identify unknown compounds using liquid chromatography.
