2-Chloro-7-methylquinoxaline is a useful reactant for the synthesis of pentathiepino-pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine derivatives and 2-{4-[(7-Chloro-2-quinoxalinyl)oxy]phenoxy}propionic acid, an active antitumor agent.
