Amino-PEG6-acid is a PEG reagent composing one amine (NH2) and one terminal carboxylic acid group (CO2). The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The amino group is reactive with activated NHS esters to form a stable amide bond.
NH2-PEG6-CH2CH2COOH is a cleavable 6 unit PEG ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). NH2-PEG6-CH2CH2COOH is also a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
reagent type: cross-linking reagent
