4,4'-carbonimidoylbis[N,N-diethylaniline] monohydrochloride

C.I. Basic yellow 37 is an alkaline dye that can be removed from aqueous solutions in intermittent adsorption systems using tree ferns as biosorbents.

The sulfur was dissolved in 4 – (4-Diethylamino) benzyl)-N, N-diethylbenzenamine was added ammonium chloride and sodium chloride, in a stream of ammonia was heated at 175 ℃ mixture was extracted with hot water, dye, and then salting.
