PT-104 is a non-ionic wetting agent and molecular defoamer. It is a surfactant based on the chemical structure of acetylenediol, which is suitable for the dynamic wetting and defoaming of water-based coatings, inks and adhesives. Free of silicone and silica.

Application characteristics
The hydrophobic nature of this surfactant typically results in significantly reduced water sensitivity compared to either conventional ethoxylated or anionic surfactants. Its unique chemical nature allows it to provide multifunctional properties such foam control and viscosity stabilization. Offers quick migration which leads to low dynamic surface tension and thermal as well as chemical stability over a broad range of conditions. It reduces water sensitivity and improves flow as well as pigment grinding efficiency. It prevents surface defect problems such as fisheyes, crawling and cratering on low-energy substrates.

Store container tightly sealed in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place. The product is freeze-thaw stable. Container should be heated to 60-70°C to completely melt product; mix thoroughly before use.
