Adipotide NEW

Adipotide is a new drug that has shown promise in obesity research. Initially developed as a cancer treatment aimed at starving cancer cells of their blood supply to halt their growth, it was found to starve fat cells in the bloodstream, forcing them to die and be reabsorbed by the body. Initial tests were conducted on mice before being transferred to monkeys. Tests on rats showed a 30% reduction in weight. In a study involving ten obese female rhesus monkeys, four weeks of daily injections of Adipotide followed by four weeks without treatment resulted in an average weight loss of 11% and a 39% reduction in fat deposits, with most of the loss occurring during the non-treatment period.
