Key properties:   thixotropic additive

l is a cost-effective thixotropic additive for aqueous systems.

l provides stable shear-thinning viscosity and texture build over a wide temperature range

l improves slump or sag resistance.

l does not retard drying

l acts as suspending agent, preventing hard settlement

l is bacteria- and enzyme-resistant

Incorporation：

HEMINGS®   F330C additive can be added dry to the formulation and will develop its gelling ability under high-shear dispersion conditions. lt is stable over a pH range 6-11.

For improved performance and easier incorporation,it is better to prepare a pre-gel at 7-10% solids in warm water. High-shear forces are required for 20-30 minutes (high- speed discimpeller at 15-20 ms-1 typical peripheral speed).

The pre-gel can then be added to the system as required and is easily incorporated under moderate shear.

Optimum performance is achieved if the pre-gel is added during high-shear dispersion of other solid ingredients.

Levels of use:

The level of addition depends on the desired consistency of the system.Typical levels range from 0.5-3.0% HEMINGS®  F330C additive, based on the total formulation.

Storage:

lStore in a cool, dry location.

lHEMINGS®   F330C will absorb atmospheric moisture if stored under high humidity conditions.

Shelf life:

HEMINGS®  F330C has a shelf life of 36 months from date of manufacture.
