· Targets a broad range of infections, especially those caused by Pseudomonas and other resistant bacteria.
Applications
· Pharmaceuticals: Primarily used to treat bacterial infections, including urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, and gastrointestinal infections.
· Biotechnology & Research: Used in laboratory settings to study bacterial growth and to select for recombinant organisms in genetic engineering.
· Veterinary: Used in animals to treat bacterial infections.
