Performance and usage
AA-AMPS-HPA terpolymer is a new type of polyelectrolyte scale inhibitor and dispersant containing multiple functional groups. Since the molecular chain of the copolymer contains strong acid, weak acid and non-ionic groups at the same time, this product has a high calcium tolerance under high temperature, high pH, high hardness and high alkali conditions,it has excellent inhibitory and dispersing properties against the deposition of calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, zinc scale, iron oxide, sediment and other dirt in water. AA-AMPS-HPA terpolymer has good compatibility with common water treatment agents such as polyphosphates, zinc salts, and organic phosphonates. especially when combined with zinc salts, it has a high zinc stabilization rate,thereby improving the corrosion inhibition rate of the agent on carbon steel, it has been widely used in complex water treatment in industrial such as steel, petrochemical, electric power, oil fields, coal etc.
Using method
The normal dosage of AA-AMPS-HPA as a scale inhibitor and dispersant is 10 to 30 mg/L. It can be used in conjunction with zinc salts and organic phosphonic acids (salts). The applicable pH condition is 7.0 to 9.5. When used as dispersed iron oxide, the dosage is generally 80 to 100 mg/L. The dosage for specific applications needs to be determined after actual tests.
