Ferrocene is a metal organic compound. Under ordinary temperature, it is a kind of orange powder with camphor smell. The melting
point is 172-174ºC and the boiling point is 249ºC. It is insoluble in water, but easily soluble in benzene, ethyl ether, ,
diesel oil and other organic solvents. It can't react with acid, alkali and ultraviolet. Chemically it is stable, and decomposes
at 400ºC.
