1.Performance and usage
Isothiazolinones (CMIT/MIT) is mainly composed of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-thiazoline-3-ketone (CMI) and 2-methyl-4-thiazoline-3-ketone (MI). Isothiazolinones (CMIT/MIT) act by breaking the bonds between bacterial and algal proteins. After contact with microorganisms, it can quickly and irreversibly inhibit their growth, leading to the death of microbial cells. Therefore, it has a strong inhibitory and killing effect on common bacteria, fungi, algae, etc. It has high biocidal efficiency, with properties of good degradability, no residue, safe operation, good compatibility, strong stability, and low cost of use. Can be miscible with chlorine and most anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants. At high doses, it has a significant effect on biological slime stripping.
Isothiazolinone is a broad-spectrum, highly efficient, low-toxic, non-oxidizing biocide. Widely used in oil fields, papermaking, pesticides, cutting oil, leather, ink, dyes, tanning and other industries.

3.Using method:
When isothiazolinone grade II is used as slime stripper, the dosage is 150-300 mg/L; when used as fungicide, be added every 3-7 days at a dosage of 80-100 mg/L. It can be used together with oxidizing bactericides such as chlorine and cannot be used in cooling water systems containing sulfide. The effect is better when used in combination with quaternary ammonium salts.
When used as an industrial bactericidal and antifungal agent, the general concentration is 0.05-0.4%.
4.Package and Storage:

Store in a cool and ventilated place indoors, storage period is 1 year.
5. Safety protection
Isothiazolinones are corrosive to the skin and can cause skin burns and allergic dermatitis that can last for several hours. It is strictly forbidden to contact the skin and eyes. Protective glasses, rubber gloves and other labor protection supplies should be worn during operation. If the skin comes into contact, take off the contaminated clothes and shoes immediately, rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, and apply urea acetate ointment or scald ointment to the affected area, and seek medical attention immediately.
