Features
1. Mercapto Silane Oligomer is synthesized by the hydrolysis-condensation reaction of 3-Mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane (KH580 Mercaptosilane). It substitute of Momentive T-Cure. Compared to monomeric silanes, its oligomeric form results in a more uniform film, longer storage time, and higher stability.
2. It features a high content of mercapto and triethoxy functional groups, enabling the formation of strong chemical bonds between inorganic materials (e.g., glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g., rubber, resins). This significantly enhances the adhesion, mechanical properties, and durability of composites.
Applications
1. Metal Surface Treatment: Treating surfaces of metals such as gold, silver, and copper to improve their corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and adhesion to polymeric materials.
2. Coatings: Enhancing the adhesion of primers to various substrates (e.g., metal, glass, plastic) and improving interlayer adhesion between topcoats and primers, effectively solving coating delamination issues.
