Perbutyl-BIPB (Bis(t-butylperoxy isopropyl)benzene) is a high-efficiency bifunctional organic peroxide used primarily as a crosslinking agent for rubbers and plastics. It is highly effective for EVA foam, EPDM, silicone rubber, and chlorinated polyethylene (CPE). It is preferred for its low odor and high scorch safety, often used in wire/cable insulation and shoe materials. 

Key Usage and Applications: 

Crosslinking Agent:

Used to crosslink natural and synthetic rubbers, elastomers, and polyolefins (EVA, EPDM, PE).

EVA Foam Production:

Widely used in EVA foam molding and footwear accessories due to its low odor and consistent performance.

Cable/Wire Insulation:

Suitable for cable insulating materials, particularly where odor-free production is needed.

Polymer Modification:

Used as a modifier for polypropylene (e.g., melt flow regulation).
