The immunoglobulin superfamily member 11 (IGSF11) is a transmembrane protein primarily involved in cell-cell adhesion and immune regulation. It shares structural homology with other immunoglobulin-like proteins, featuring extracellular immunoglobulin (Ig) domains that mediate homophilic or heterophilic interactions. IGSF11 is expressed in various tissues, including the immune system, brain, and epithelial cells, and plays roles in neuronal development, immune synapse formation, and epithelial barrier maintenance. Its dysregulation has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, and cancer metastasis.

Antibodies targeting IGSF11 are valuable tools for studying its expression, localization, and functional mechanisms.
