RCAN3 (Regulator of Calcineurin 3) is a member of the RCAN family, which modulates the activity of calcineurin, a calcium-dependent phosphatase involved in critical cellular processes such as immune response, cardiac development, and synaptic plasticity. RCAN3. encoded by the *RCAN3* gene, acts as a feedback inhibitor of calcineurin signaling, helping to maintain cellular homeostasis by preventing excessive phosphatase activity. While less studied compared to other family members (e.g., RCAN1), emerging evidence suggests RCAN3 may play roles in neurodevelopment, stress responses, and calcium signaling regulation. Dysregulation of calcineurin pathways has been implicated in neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular disorders, and Down syndrome, highlighting the potential relevance of RCAN3 in these contexts.

RCAN3 antibodies are essential tools for investigating the protein’s expression, localization, and function.
