Is Trenbolone acetate a growth promoter? What are its side effects?

Trenbolone acetate is a synthetic anabolic-androgenic steroid, widely used as a growth promotor in beef feeder systems for improved production of muscle mass in animals. It is not licensed for human use. Trenbolone acetate upon entering the circulatory system is rapidly hydrolysed to its free active form trenbolone (TBOH). In the rat the 17β-epimer is the major metabolite. In the bovine species the 17α-epimer is themajor metabolite occurring in the excreta, bile and iiver; the 17β-epimer is themajor metabolite occurring in muscle. Common side effects include extreme anger, violent behavior, sleep issues , and a total shutdown of the body's natural testosterone.
