What colour is the flame when heptane burns?

Heptane is widely employed as a reference fuel for assessing the anti-knock properties of other fuels, due to its zero octane rating. Under lean conditions, the flame of its vapour is pale blue; as the fuel concentration increases, it gradually turns blue-green, eventually evolving into a bright yellow-white torch.
