What is the uses and production of Potassium Phosphate Dibasic?

Potassium Phosphate Dibasic is a plant macronutrient, it has been used in the preparation of MMG (maltose, methyl green) medium, phosphate buffered saline and hypotonic solution.
It is produced commercially by partial neutralization of phosphoric acid with two equivalents of potassium chloride:
H3PO4 + 2 KCl → K2HPO4 + 2 HCl
